  1. Ok, I’m pretty sure I’m not eating enough uncooked foods. Eek. Except of course at Monastery, where the Sufi diet has loads of it. But that’s 2 weeks a year 🙂 What enzymes (supplements) do you recommend? I remember my mother bought me some papaya enzymes a while back, good?

    1. Papaya enzyme supplements are fine but they tend to have only 1 or 2 types of enzymes. You’d want to choose an enzyme blend that includes 5 or 6 types of enzymes in order to help you digest the macro nutrients (protein, carbs and fats). I like a brand called Digest More from RenewLife. Hope this helps!

  2. Great video Jovanka! I’ve been transitioning to a much healthier diet over the past year or so, but raw foods still don’t play a big enough part in my opinion. Would you recommend a 100% raw diet? I’m aiming for high raw, so I’m hoping to incorporate more smoothies and salads for breakfast and lunch, and then a cooked meal in the evening.

    1. Thanks Rebecca. I would definitely recommend adding at least one raw ingredient to every meal (a small salad, cucumber/tomato salad, some avocado, you get the picture). Going 100% raw is tough for many people so I would research the pros and cons to this lifestyle and definitely ease my way into it, before you decide to go 100% raw. Smoothies and veggies juices are a great way to get your live enzymes without having to go 100% raw. Thanks!

  3. Loved your video – this message is so simple and essential! I eat really abundant salads every day as well as juicing fresh home grown vegetables. I feel amazing when I do this. Although I don’t prescribe to any one particular diet, I tent to let my intuition guide me and eating this way really activates the body intelligence where it begins to tell me what I need. xo M
