You can’t sleep and this is awful! Lack of sleep can be disrupting at best and deadly at it’s worst. All creatures on earth sleep, if you don’t sleep, you can get very ill. You gain weight, you get wrinkly, you suffer from anxiety… you know it, because you suffer from it every damn day!

Apart from the average things you already know: establishing consistent bedtime routine, eating a clean diet, avoid caffeine and large meals at night, there are a  couple of supplements and this one awesome herbal remedy that you can use to help you get a good night sleep! Check out the video below.

  1. Hi Jovanka,
Regarding Magnesium, I don’t know which type to buy. The store I went to carries these types:

    Magnesium 30 tablets
    Calcium & Magnesium
    Magnesium Citrate
    Magnesium Chelate
    Chelated Magnesium

Can you suggest what type I should buy to help with sleep.
    Thanks,
    Jimmy

    • The one my doctor recommended was Magnesium Citrate as it is the easiest to absorb. Avoid magnesium carbonate, sulfate, gluconate, and oxide (hard to absorb).

  2. I have had success with diffusing Young Living Lavender oil at night. It is a 100% pure therapeutic grade oil so I also apply it behind my ears or under my nose. Great stuff!

    • I love lavender! Very effective!

  3. Hello Jovanka!

I have been a subscriber for quite some time now but have never left a comment! I love what you do and I am so inspired by your work.

I have a question regarding the herbal remedy for sleep: Do you heat everything in a pot on a stove? I never use a microwave so I’m assuming this is an effective method. Also, you say to warm, so I shouldn’t bring to a boil?

Thank You Jovanka! Keep up the life changing work 🙂

    • Thanks for the comment & compliments! So sweet of you! To answer your question, yes, I use the stove, never the microwave. And you can heat to the point of boil but it is not necessary. Hope this helps!
