    1. Coconut oil has many proven benefits including helping us burn fat more efficiently and lower the risk of heart disease. However, it is a saturated fat (albeit plant-based) so it should be used in moderation. I also love using it as a hair, nail and skin moisturizer!

  1. I disagree.. I know that my body needs the protein from meat and other organs.. I try to eat about 20% meat and the rest plant based. I basicly eat paleo because I am allergic to grains.. and some people need more fat and protein than others. I do agree that people over do the meat on the paleo and in the US. The source of meat in our grocery stores is not good in any respect.

    1. Thanks for your candid comment Connie. I love these types of discussions. I should say that your body does need protein just like everybody elses but you can get great easily digestible and less dangerous sources of protein from plants. Reducing your flesh consumption to 10% of your daily calories will go even a longer way to preventing inflammation, and potential preventable diseases. xoxo

  2. I love you sharing about acidity and alkalinity, I have followed this advice to help eliminate inflammation and detox the liver. I love how you so enthusiastically share the why and the how to feel better. I have to agree, I feel better when I eat a mostly plant based diet, personally.

  3. I like the helpful info you provide in your articles.
