  1. I eliminated sugar from my diet except for the odd treat from time to time (e.g. homemade kettle corn, Haagen Dazs vanilla ice cream). I did this just through a conscious choice. However, lately, I’ve started consuming it again. I need to get back on track. I do have healthy, homemade smoothies for breakfast, I eat 5-6 small meals a day (or 3 meals and 2-3 snacks), I don’t eat dessert and I do eat lots of fruit. The conscious choice not to buy anything with sugar is what my issue is right now! I might have to detox to get back on track.

  2. Hi, Jovanka
Awesome video and tips – I did go through the sugar de-addictionization (is that even a word?? 🙂 ) and your steps work like a charm!!!
The way I did it was replacing sugar with sweet fruit. For a while, I had raisins on me all the time. Of course, I’d eat too many at the beginning, but raisins have no mercy: have too many, and you get yourself a diarrhoea – pretty smart little wicked devils 🙂
When I naturally reduced the quantity of raisins that I needed (which happens pretty quickly, as they don’t become addictive), I replaced them with grapes.
Now grapes have been my sweet tooth fix – and I have no problem with that 😉
    Thanks again for the tips,
    Llyane
