As you try to improve your health by changing your diet and including more whole foods, you will get the inevitable questions from some well-intentioned (for the most part) people questioning your new healthy choices.
After hearing some of the CRAZIEST arguments and questions myself and through my clientele, I decided to write this post, to debunk some of the more prevalent myths about plant-based eaters.
So, whether you are vegetarian, vegan or an occasional meat-eaters who still centers your diet around fruits, vegetables and whole grains, you might want to CHECK OUT THIS VIDEO to help you with the inevitable questions coming your way!

Which one of these have you heard the most?
Have any of these helped you debunk your OWN myths about plant-based eaters?

This is great. The protein myth has been something that I struggle with. I’m blanking on the names, but I remember during the Olympics learning about a vegan athlete who was at the top of his field, an MMA fighter champion, not to mention many other professional athletes in many sports that excel at their profession and do not eat meat. I still like the taste but I have cut back on meat for about 15% of my diet right now, and I feel as strong as ever. Great post.
Well said, Oscar. Thanks for the comment!
Jovanka,
This is so comprehensive. What a great resource! I will definitely be passing it along. xo Natalie
Thanks Natalie!
Love this, I’ve been a vegetarian (off and on a “muffin” one, but trying to do better) for 26 years so I’ve heard it all!
Yep! Awareness is the first step… willingness is the next!
Great video. I always get asked about the protein one so I make sure I can answer that. What was really impressive were the statistics at the end of the video. I’m transitioning back to being vegan and that has just given me the additional motivation to keep going and make sure I don’t add processed foods back into my diet. Thanks 🙂
Good to hear Tabitha. Keep it up!
I’m a vegetarian and I no longer hear any myths or “concerns.” But I used to hear the protein one. I just explained about protein in a similar way that you did. Awesome video!
