Ever wonder how to do a food allergy elimination diet? IF you are having food allergies or intolerances, you might want to eliminate certain foods from your diet for a few weeks, allow your body to heal and then slowly re-introduce foods to help you learn what helps and what doesn’t.

Thanks, Jovanka. I’ve been looking into doing an elimination diet because I’m allergic to something new. I already eat a vegetarian, gluten-free diet and I also have some allergies (so I don’t eat certain other foods either) . . . and now I have a new one that I need to specify. I’m pretty sure it’s a nightshade thing, but we’ll see.
That nightshade intolerance is so much more common than people think. So good to know that you are in touch with your body’s cues.
Jovanka, which vegetate as the “nightshade” vegetables. I just wanted to double check.
The nightshade family includes tomatoes, potatoes, eggplant, peppers and Goji berries. Hope this helps!
